Jacob knocked on the door of his Mother's room softly, his breath catching in his throat. He hadn't seen her since his Grandmother gave her back her memories and quite frankly he wasn't sure how she was going to take it, or him. He was nervous, so very nervous. Would she hat him because of what he'd kept from her? Would she hate him because he was the reminder of their love...

But he would do anything in his power to protect her because she was his mother and he loved her so much.

There was only one way to find out. He waited.

If anyone needs me, I'll be over here NOT fighting for my fucking family because I'm not ALLOWED.

Not part of the family then, sure as fuck not part of the family now.

But no, I'm not bitter.

All I wanted was to be part of something. Just once.

Mum won't talk to me again but I don't blame her.

I wouldn't talk to me either.

Jacob could hardly suppress his sheer happiness as they entered the pub, his hand holding tightly to his wife. He'd sent owls to all his family and significant others of family members and friends of course, he couldn't forget his friends!

He pulled up a chair and sat down, still grinning from ear to ear like he'd been since he'd been told.
